The Vision of SFUMC for 2020

Friends,

One of the tasks every United Methodist Church faces in charge conference deliberations is a statement of goals for the upcoming year. Sometimes those goals may be specific as a statement of a program already in place. I have had conversations relating to last year’s goals and offer the following as my offering of a GENERAL but challenging goal structure that I hope will be helpful in our work in 2020.

3. What is the report of the governing and program bodies of the church or charge including a report on the goals for the previous year and recommendations for goals for the coming year (¶¶ 247, 252)?
